The ability to close deals effectively and on the best commercial terms is a valuable talent. Often transactions stall between contract award and commercial close. This applies to large PFI and Public Private Partnership schemes as well as to smaller contracts that are tendered under both public and private procurements.
Bowe Watts Clargo has built a proven reputation in deal closing, we were appointed by the Department of Health to provide a team of Deal Closure Managers for the Independent Sector Treatment Centre Programme.
This initiative was focussed on reducing patient waiting lists in the NHS by procuring surgical and other clinical services from healthcare providers in the private sector.
Therefore, in order that patients received their treatment at the earliest opportunity, the Department of Health required contracts with Preferred Bidders to be closed quickly and on terms that met their strict value for money criteria.
Our team closed multiple contracts on major ISTC schemes and team members also provided deal closure support across the Programme. John Clargo was a key member of the Department's Alpha Team formed to execute Deal Closure on the most effective and commercially efficient terms.
We are currently providing Contract Negotiation Deal Closure services to major healthcare providers in the private sector and to prominent organisations in other Sectors.
